The 1PB-CGH is a useful approach to perform comprehensive aneuploidy
detection, even if the female partner is not at risk of aneuploidy, i.e., advanced maternal age (AMA), recurrent spontaneous abortions, or other situations. In our own experience, aneuploid events in the oocytes of young females do not have a negligible frequency (30% of the PB1-MII doublets analyzed with CGH were aneuploid).
